The context
The challenge Vocare answers
Missionary sending from the West has been declining. In response, churches and mission societies are increasingly seeking to strengthen those who already serve locally: better prepared leaders, close guidance and stable support for churches and missionaries, in service of the advance of God’s Kingdom.

Vocare contributes to this path: it develops, alongside the calling, a real professional skill.

The model
Two tracks, side by side
It doesn’t matter whether you arrive through the calling or through a profession.
The calling gains strategy
Starting from the gift you already exercise day to day, whether caring for people, sharing the gospel or teaching the Word, Vocare helps you design a real strategy for ministry, where you are now or wherever you are called next.
The trade becomes viable
Alongside an expert mentor, you develop a viable professional activity, practiced 10 to 20 hours a week, able to generate independent income.

The whole of the training
Vocare Coordination

Why Vocare
Vocare comes from the Latin "to call". It is the root of vocation, the calling behind everything the program develops.
Why Alliance
No church, mentor or coordination sustains this model alone: it is a network of churches and mentors united around the same purpose.
Where the model comes from
Paul, Priscilla and Aquila
The arrival
Paul arrives in Corinth exhausted and without resources
Acts 18:1; 1 Corinthians 2:3
The meeting
He meets Priscilla and Aquila, leatherworkers like him
Acts 18:3
Eighteen months
He works and preaches alongside them
Acts 18:11
Later
In Ephesus, a church meets in their home
Acts 18:18 and 19; 1 Corinthians 16:8 and 19
"We put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ."1 Corinthians 9:12 (NIV)
Paul calls them synergoi, co-workers (Romans 16:3), and says all the churches of the Gentiles were grateful to them (Romans 16:4).
Like Paul, Priscilla and Aquila, we join a passion for ministry with meaningful work. The trade does not divide the heart: it protects integrity and opens doors for the Gospel.
Purpose
The calling God has written into a life, before any strategy or structure.
Provision
It is not the goal of the program; it is what happens when a leader works for the mission, not for money.
